The screw nuts has 4.5 mm diameter and it is 6 mm long. The threaded hole inside is 4 mm long.
This screw nuts is for artist without kiln.
ATTENSION: THIS SCREW NUT TYPE IS ONLY FOR GLUE! PLEASE DON'T TRY TO MELT IT INTO GLASS!
I suggest to use 4 mm normal bead mandrel with bead release or 5 mm mandrel with thin bead release.
Create your bead on the end of the mandrel. The mandrel must be minimum 6 mm inside the bead. After your bead is cold down, clean the hole from bead release.
I suggest to use fast dry (5 minutes) epoxy glue. Use a toothpick to put the glue into the hole and cover the hole surface with glue. Screw the brass nut on M2.5 mandrel or any M2.5 threaded rod and push it into the hole. Be sure that the screw has a contact with the glue and the position of the screw is ok. Screw out the mandrel if the glue is already fix.

M2.5 Screw for Lampwork cabochons
Beach Buggy is a interchangeable pendant, screw-on system for lampwork bead jewelry. All metal elements are made from surgical steel (stainless steel), a material of many virtues. Surgical steel is one of the hardest kinds of steel, it does not get worn, does not get colorized and does not induce allergic reactions. It makes the elements long-lasting, they can be assembled and disassembled multiple times. The steel is so hard that you can even use pliers to gently hold and turn the elements without scratching them. You can hold the steel lampwork bead pins into the flame of a lampwork touch and melt glass onto it. All elements are threaded they can be connected by screwing. The lampwork bead pin and the various connector elements provide virtually unlimited possibilities to create fantastic jewelry. The diameter of the lampwork bead pins are 1.1 mm and the various silicon tubes and converters provide a tight fit for beads with holes of a diameter of 2-3 mm. The system is not recommended for holes with a diameter larger than 3 mm as the size of the end elements (4-5 mm) are too small for such beads. The recommended bore diameter is 1.5-2.5 mm.
